Please note that you will need a Phillips head screwdriver for this process.
- Begin by putting your hub into z-wave device exclusion mode from the SmartThings app.
- Enter in the following sequence onto the Yale lock keypad: MasterCode

- From the backside of the lock, remove the screw on the cover plate to expose the batteries.
- Remove the batteries from the lock and then remove the remaining three screws so that the backside of the lock is able to be removed from the door.
- With the batteries out, locate the white reset button the back of the lock and press down. With the button still pressed, reinsert the batteries and continue to hold down the button for no less than 20 seconds. After 20 seconds, remove your finger from the reset button, you will then hear the lock make a noise.
- Create a new Master Code on the lock by entering the following sequence onto the keypad:

- Pair the lock back to the hub.
