Setting Up Intercom
There are three ways that Operto can connect to your intercom system.
1. The first is through "Auto-buzz", which allows the guests to enter the building by simply entering the unit number into the intercom.
2. The second is "Keypad Entry" which will require the guests to use the same access code they have been given for the property's door lock.
3. The third one is "Voice Controlled" which will require the guests to use the same access code they have been given for the property's door lock and speak it into the intercom.
Here are the sequences for the 2 different scenarios above:
Auto buzz
1. The guest arrives at the lobby door
2. Enters the unit name
3. The system dials the number provided to you using the unit number on the intercom
4. Door opens automatically
Keypad Entry
1. The guest arrives at the lobby door
2. Enters the unit name
3. The system dials the number provided to you using the unit number on the intercom
4. Guest is asked to key in the 4-digit code to enter the building (same as the lock code)
5. Door opens
Voice Entry
1. The guest arrives at the lobby door
2. Enters the unit name
3. The system dials the number provided to you using the unit number on the intercom
4. Guest is asked to read out the 4-digit code to enter the building (same as the lock code)
5. Door opens
