Before proceeding with the Onboarding steps, please make sure the latitude and longitude fields are correctly filled in your Track account.
Steps to Integrate:
- Click the Settings icon or gear icon in your Track account.
- Go to Company Setup and select 'API Keys'.
- Create a new set of keys and share the API keys and API secret with your Operto Onboarding Specialist. Please ensure server keys are provided and not channel keys.
- Also, send your Track dashboard URL to the Onboarding Specialist. It should look like this: https://CompanyName.trackhs.com/api/pms/
The Operto Team will complete the integration from there.
Set Up Guest Messaging with the Operto Code on Track:
- Track has its own Guest Messaging tool that you can use to communicate with your guests. To include the Operto code in the message, please include this variable in your message template: {{reservation.doorCode}}
- Make sure to schedule the message with the Operto code to go out at least 30 minutes after the reservation is confirmed and assigned to a room. This would ensure Operto and Track have enough time to exchange the reservation details and the associated access code.
