Bridge is Offline / Trouble connecting to WiFi
1.) If your August Connect/Yale Access Bridge is offline, try unplugging the bridge from the power outlet and then plugging it back in after 10 seconds.
If the bridge does not come back online, try moving it to a different power outlet closer to the wifi router/modem.
If that does not work either, you would need to reset the bridge and reconnect it. Here are the steps to do it:
- Unplug the device from the outlet.
- Plug the Connect Wi-Fi Bridge back into the outlet
- Hold the reset button for 5 seconds, and release.
The Yale Connect Wi-Fi Bridge LED indicator should display the following:
No Light (a few seconds) → Yale Connect Wi-Fi Bridge is now pulsating green slowly.
If after rebooting, the Connect Wi-Fi Bridge flashes green rapidly, the reset failed and the Connect Wi-Fi Bridge is attempting to reconnect to the last Wi-Fi setup. Try the reboot steps a second time, but hold the button down for 7 seconds.
This completes the steps to disconnect your device. You can re-install the Connect Wi-Fi Bridge following the steps outlined in this article.
